Accessories

NIRSBOX accessories and additional options

Tailor and complete your NIRSBOX device with all its accessories and additional options.

Fast acquisition mode

Acquisition frequency up to 50 Hz.

Battery operation mode

Internal battery pack, for more than 5 hours of wireless measurements.

Test phantom

A solid, reliable and dust-proof tissue-mimiking phantom.

Analog output

Monitor and synchronize hemodynamic variables using your laboratory analog data-logger.

Embedded PC

Add a full-feature embedded computer to your NIRSBOX device, enabling completely wireless measurements.

Rolling table with tablet

The optimal configuration to maximize the portability of your NIRSBOX device.

Fast measurement acquisition

The NIRSBOX device can be upgraded at any time with the “fast TD-NIRS” firmware option, which allows to acquire DToFs with an extremely fast integration times down to 10 ms, resulting in a maximum acquisition frequency of 50 Hz.

Battery operation mode

Use your NIRSBOX without the need of any electric socket nearby. The internal battery pack enables an operation time longer than 5 hours.

Test phantom

A solid, reliable and dust-proof tissue-mimiking phantom. Very useful to quickly confirm your measurement results and post-processing algorithms. The standard optical values of the phantom are μa = 0.1 cm-1 and μs‘ = 10 cm-1.

Analog output

With this option it is possible to use two additional output ports of the connector in the back panel to obtain analog voltages proportional to the hemodynamics parameter measured by the NIRSBOX. This can be useful to integrate the device into complex laboratory setups, where data are gathered from different sources and acquired simultaneously using analog data-loggers.

Embedded PC

The “NIRSBOX Embedded PC” option consists in a full-feature embedded computer coupled to the NIRSBOX device, enabling for completely wireless measurements. The embedded PC is fully self-contained and is placed externally on the device. It is powered by the NIRSBOX itself, using either its own internal battery or the power adapter. If not needed, the embedded PC module can be removed from the NIRSBOX device, which can be used as bench-top device as usual.

Rolling table

The optimal configuration to enhance the portability of the NIRSBOX device. Featuring four wheels that can be locked in place for stability during use, it is specifically tailored for clinical research environments. Combining the rolling table with the G5 probe and the battery option is recommended for maximum flexibility and convenience. Easily perform non-invasive optical measurements while ensuring reliable performances and mobility. This option includes a 13-inch tablet device, for data display and NIRSBOX control.
